About

Who is Tom Freudenthal?

I am an educator that has been teaching for more than 30 years. I’ve spent thousands of hours exploring and studying ways to read and learn more effectively. While instructing speed reading and effective learning strategies in Germany for over 7 years to more than 3000 people, I created the Thomas Freudenthal SpeedReadingMethod. Amongst our customers are the biggest corporations in Germany that hire me over and over again to train their employees. Observing my students and hearing their feedback during our workshops has given me a very clear picture of what really works when it comes to speed reading.
So the Thomas Freudenthal SpeedReadingMethod works very well by now ;-)

Now, how do I know how to read fast in order to absorb information effectively?

I used to be a very slow reader and had no idea how to learn effectively. (I didn’t learn much about this field in school).
When I worked as a journalist however, I had to find a solution for my slow reading. If you are not capable of reading enormous amounts of texts in a short time, you will never get anywhere in that profession. So I was forced to research this field and even back then I found methods that worked fairly well.
Also, close to the end of my career as a journalist, while working on a radio production, I happened to get to know a young man, who was known as a natural genius. He had developed a new learning system that reflected his in“genius” way of reading and learning. This was actually the beginning of my travels through the world of accelerated absorption of knowledge, and the outcome was the development of a number of fairly effective speed reading methods.

Today our reading system has turned out to be quite successful – especially after gaining lots of practical experience, with hundreds of clients, in the course of the last few years.
Naturally, we continuously developed the method with the feedback from our clients. At present, our participants, on average, increase their reading speed within 2.5 days by 82%, and in the following weeks it increases even more – sometimes up to 900 words per minute.
